Everton are set for an important transfer period with a lot of activity expected from the Toffees in the upcoming window.

Courtesy of Alex Iwobi's late winner against Newcastle, Frank Lampard's men are three points above the relegation zone in the Premier League table. However, they did suffer a heavy 4-0 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace in the quarter-final of the FA Cup last time out.

Predicting Everton's future has become more difficult than deciding on which betting promotions for Grand National to select this month, and every game over the next two months will be a real ‘final'.

Everton take on four of the current top seven in their next six outings, and their survival hopes still hang firmly in the balance despite having two games in hand.

Here is a round-up of the outgoings and incomings that could occur at Goodison Park when the market reopens:

Departures

Cenk Tosun will leave as a free agent and has been linked with a return to Beskitas. Like Tosun, Asmir Begovic is also in the final few months of his contract but the goalkeeper has the option for a further year which could see him remain at the club.

Jonjoe Kenny remains in limbo regarding his future as the 25-year-old, whose current deal runs out in July, is yet to be offered a new deal.

Loan signings Donny van de Beek and Anwar El Ghazi are largely expected to return to their parent clubs Manchester United and Aston Villa respectively, but Van de Beek is reportedly open to making his move permanent.

Richarlison has emerged as potential transfer target for Manchester United and the Brazilian forward could be on his way out in the summer.

Arrivals

Luka Jovic is a name that has been on Everton's radar as the striker continues to struggle for playing minutes at Real Madrid and a loan move could be on the cards.

Paulo Dybala's impending Juventus has made the transfer news headlines this month and the Merseyside-based outfit may choose to reignite their interest in “La Joya" having been linked with a move for the Argentine last year.

Moise Kean was supposed to be on loan at Juventus for two seasons but the Italian giants are keen to send the forward back at the end of the current campaign following a largely unproductive second spell with the Old Lady.

Everton reportedly sent scouts to watch Nottingham Forest's Joe Worrall but would have to shrug off competition from Brighton and West Ham United for the defender's signature.

Many of the aforementioned moves hinge on whether Everton beat the drop or not but one thing for sure is that a very busy summer is expected at Goodison Park either way.
