Disclaimer Geoff Williams 1 Posted 17/01/2022 at 17:23:24 Will Everton reappoint those sacked at Benitez's whim and apologise for the mistake they made? Jon Harding 2 Posted 17/01/2022 at 17:25:13 Too late for Digne though, sadly. Larry O'Hara 3 Posted 17/01/2022 at 20:12:49 Geoff (1) that is a good question regarding Brands perhaps Phill Thompson 4 Posted 17/01/2022 at 20:41:57 Danny Donachie our ex director of medical services must be pretty pissed off. Our injuries probably got worse after he left and our magical Rehabilitation guy who was supposed to solve the problem has now gone too. The next “ permanent “ manager will want to bring in his own staff, meanwhile we're left trying to fill the gaps. Agent Benitez has really foooked us up. Justin Doone 5 Posted 17/01/2022 at 21:12:50 Never mind agent Benetiz, it's super spy Mo thats the real no, no. Jerome Shields 6 Posted 18/01/2022 at 00:19:56 Second coming of Donachie possible. Bob Parrington 7 Posted 18/01/2022 at 10:30:15 Time perhaps for big Dunc to build his support crew and playing staff? Scott Montgomery 8 Posted 18/01/2022 at 14:22:35 You couldn't make this shite up if you tried. Used to have no money, but finished in Champions League spot with a team of hard grafters. Knocked out of said tournament by cheating ref. Manager who got team to CL playoffs leaves to jeering from selection of fans. Finally get some money when new Billionaire owner takes over. Hire renowned continental scout to oversee transfer business and promote to Director of football. Spunk hundreds of millions down the drain on a succession of crocks, failures and alleged child botherers who were recommended by a succession of mercenary clown managers. Hire world class manager and galactico player. Never see Galactico play in flesh as he is crocked with testicle issues. World class manager leaves. Hire ex-manager from local rivals against the wishes of a majority of supporters who takes team to lower depths of the Premier League table. Sack Director of football. Lose international left-back due to relationship breakdown with manager. Sack manager 2 days afterward during an important transfer window leaving clueless Billionaire accountant and aging theatre impresario in charge of football matters. Put ex-striker, penalised for infringement in earlier mentioned European match, in temporary charge and go chasing after one of said previous mercenary clown managers. Watch as jeered manager takes unfashionable London club into Champions League places through astute transfer business.I give up. Phil Wood 9 Posted 18/01/2022 at 22:30:35 Scott Brilliant! Ian Pilkington 10 Posted 18/01/2022 at 23:00:54 Scott @8Correction: the manager who got the team to the CL playoffs (with negative goal difference) was actually cheered to the rafters at the end of his last game in charge, despite 11 years of mostly negative football. I was almost alone as I left the ground at the final whistle that day, not wanting to join in the sycophantic worship of the man who turned us into plucky little Everton at the behest of his moon-faced mentor sitting in the director's box.He won't be taking his unfashionable London club into the Champions League at the end of season either. Anthony Hawkins 11 Posted 19/01/2022 at 18:30:09 @Scott #8 - the manager who got the team to Champions League playoffs and was jeered also ran out of ideas and was poached by a significantly bigger club. You share a romantic view of certain managers' time with the club. Dennis Stevens 12 Posted 19/01/2022 at 18:40:08 Scott, you're in danger of looking like a Moyes supporter rather than an Everton supporter. Whatever your views on the man, & mine are mixed at best, it's now many years since he left - he's of no relevance to us now.
