Fan Advisory Board to launch before the end of 2021-22

Jerome, you know the answer to your question. The Esk answered it weeks ago. The 27 Years campaign is not part of ESSG.

I looked at 27 Years Twitter account which seems to be their preferred platform for communicating with fellow Blues.

I have no doubts they are well intended, but quite frankly, given their 'demands' are based on establishing better lines of communication from the club, greater transparency and involvement of the fan base, they do not appear to be applying the same criteria to their own methods.

Using Twitter primarily as its means of communicating with fellow Blues excludes tens of thousands of fans who don't use the platform who may otherwise be sympathetic to their cause.

Other than their single attempted walkout early December in the Arsenal game, the movement has been passive to the point of invisible.

Nor will the content on their Twitter page encourage or induce the club to engage with them as is their expressed desire, IMO.

Posts of banners – 'Moshiri if you want success then change this mess'; 'Kenwright & Co, It's time to go' - are likely to be met with hostility and resistance by their targets.

They sabotage the campaign's stated desire to meaningfully engage with the owner and the board.

Sorry. But I just don't see 27 Years ever being taken seriously by sufficient numbers in the fan base that they will ever be granted an audience by the club's guardians which is their stated objective.

I'll repeat myself from other threads. We need a united front if we are to meaningfully engage with the club.

It needs to be a platform to express views and genuine concerns that will be listened to. Not just a token, tick in the box for the club. As in "look, we have listened to the fans".

Whatever that group is, 27 Years, ESSG, these groups need to come together to avoid divide and conquer. More significantly, the cynic in me suspects that the club will choose a group that they feel is the path of least resistance and will simply be satisfied at being at the table. Have their bellies stroked and move on.

I appreciate we all have different views, so that will be challenging, but in my opinion, the only way the fans will get a meaningful voice and place at the table is to unify all of these factions under one banner.

The approach has to be considered. There's no point ranting and shouting when you get this type of access and platform.

I'm starting to sound like a revolutionary partisan. I'm not, I just want considered evolution.
