Season › 2024-25 › News Which Everton players should you pick for your Premier League fantasy football team? James Kelbrick 08/08/2025 0comments | Jump to last It’s that magical time of year again when Fantasy Football managers across the globe emerge from their off-season slumber to craft pun-heavy team names and pretend they won’t use their wildcard by Gameweek 3. I’ve proudly gone with ‘You Beto Believe It’ as my team with the Portuguese fan favourite leading the attack. Dodgy puns aside, which Toffees can you trust, or take an educated gamble on, to earn you some precious points early on? Jordan Pickford (GK) England’s No.1 played in all 38 league games for the Blues last season, claiming one assist and seven yellow cards along the way. Pickford, who has only missed 11 Premier League games in his previous eight seasons with the club, secured more points in the official Premier League Fantasy Football than any other Everton player last season. The 31-year-old shot-stopper claimed a total of 158 points in the 2024/25 fantasy game, putting him top of the goalkeeper’s chart, a whopping 46 points ahead of a chap named Alisson Becker who didn’t even make the top five. The former Sunderland player also saved two out of two penalties that the Toffees conceded and kept 12 clean sheets during the 2024/25 campaign, so you can see why Pickford simply must be in every Evertonian’s fantasy team this season. Current Cost: £5.5m Currently Selected by: 12% Iliman Ndiaye (MID) The only player to get bums off seats every time he took to the pitch last season for the Toffees also ended the campaign as the club’s top goal scorer. Iliman Ndiaye enjoyed an excellent debut season with Everton, scoring nine Premier League goals, and the talented 25-year-old surely would have scored more goals had he not played ‘Dyche-Ball’ for the first half of the campaign. Ndiaye probably shouldn’t be classed as a midfielder in Premier League fantasy football, but he is and this only goes in our favour. The Senegalese star finished last season with 114 points to his name after featuring in 33 of the Toffee’s 38 league games. Ndiaye averaged 1.30 shots per 90 minutes and 0.56 shots on target per 90 minutes in the Premier League last season, boasting a shots on target ratio of 42.9%. Unsurprisingly, Ndiaye attempted the most take-ons of any Toffee’s player last season, 143 compared to Jack Harrison’s 75, and Senegal international has a success rate of 47.6%. Under David Moyes, Ndiaye will find himself in more goalscoring opportunities this season and that’s a great reason to include him in your FF team. Current Cost: £6.5m Currently Selected by: 12.3% Beto (FWD) Beto’s struggles at Everton have been well documented and the player came close to leaving the club due to lack of playing time last season. However, under the guidance of David Moyes the Portuguese striker showed his true qualities in front of goal during the second half of the campaign, becoming a fan favourite in the process due to his endless effort and commitment to the cause. Beto scored eight times in the league last season, most of which were scored after Moyes’ arrival in January. The former Udinese man only earned 87 fantasy football points during the 2024/25 campaign, yet the striker has, so far, been selected more often than either Pickford or Ndiaye by the Premier League Fantasy Football players. This in part will be due to his relatively low cost but another factor must be his excellent performances in the second half of last season. The 27-year-old had a shots on target ratio of 46.9%, better than the club’s top scorer Ndiaye, and enjoyed an average of 2.87 shots per 90 minutes with 1.35 shots landing on target. Despite the arrival of Thierno Barry this summer, Beto started all three games of the USA tour and has been handed the prestigious No.9 shirt which suggests he will lead the line on the opening day against Leeds United.
