But strangely he is unable to play for the first team, apparently because of third-party ownership. However, the chances of a permanent transfer to Everton have been boosted by parent club Sporting Lisbon ending his third-party ownership. Sporting had sold 50% of the rights for his registration to Quality Football Ireland Ltd but now have full control of the 18-year-old, opening up the possibility of a full transfer to Everton.
