Moyes embarrassed by 'the whole 10 years thing'

Amidst the flood of accolades and praise from every quarter celebrating 10 years as Everton manager for David Moyes, the man himself admits to being a bit embarrassed about it all — especially as he has won nothing.

?I am quite embarrassed about the whole 10 years thing — I don't have a couple of trophies and a few medals to show people,? he says.

?I am the one who brings that up, because if I don't there will be someone who says, ?ha ha, he's not won anything'. I can think of some clubs who have spent a lot of money and gone a lot of years without winning anything.

?If when I took over 10 years ago I had asked all the people in the audience what will Everton win in the next 10 years I think most people would have turned round and said I don't think they will win anything.

?But in its own way maybe being in charge of a club like Everton for 10 years takes some doing.?
