Season › 2011-12 › News Kenwright not frightened Moyes will leave Michael Kenrick , 11 March, 27comments | Jump to most recent His manager has been linked with the managerial position at Chelsea and potential vacancies at Tottenham and Manchester United but Bill Kenwright isn't afraid that David Moyes will be upping sticks any time soon. The Everton chairman tells TalkSport he isn't worried about his long serving manager wanting to take over at another club but he insists he would go with his blessing if Everton couldn't offer him enough. ?I'm not frightened Moyes will leave],? he says. ?You would have to say [it was a possibility he would leave], wouldn't you. And not because Everton isn't the biggest club in the world, because to me it is the biggest club, but you always have to say in life, if people give you everything and they give you their best then there comes a time when what you're giving them isn't enough, well that's life. ?I hope that won't happen but he'll always get my friendship, he'll always get my applause, he'll always get my gratitude and my admiration. All of those things but we'll just have to wait and see. ?You know what would be the greatest thing of all? If he could get that FA Cup because he yearns for that moment when you hold silver,? he added. ?There will be another moment five minutes later, I promise you, because he's very, very ambitious and he loves this football club. It would be just extraordinary, wouldn't it, if in his tenth season he held that cup, I would love that for him.?
