However, the manner of the win in the second half surprisingly drew more critical analysis rather than praise from the manager. ?We've got players coming back and a wee bit of momentum, but those players coming back were the ones who weren't performing in the early part of the season so while we're saying ?great they're coming back', in truth they were part of the boys who weren't getting the results in the early part of the season. ?We sort of dug in a little bit and tried to find a way of getting results, which we have done. ?Now we're getting results, I'm complaining because I want the performances to be better.? ?I'm satisfied with the result, but not the performance. I think we can play much better than that, certainly in the second half. ?We contributed partly to our own downfall at the start of the second half. Every time we got the ball we gave it away and gave Tottenham encouragement to keep coming forward and throwing men forward. ?In the end we had to say if we can't keep the ball we'll have to try and keep you out. And thankfully we did that. ?I thought Tottenham were as good a team as we've seen at Goodison this season.?
