The most winnable Anfield derby for aeons... or so they said, with Liverpool on a run of three defeats and Everton riding high unbeaten in nine games, Evertonians worldwide ready to celebrate Moyes's 10th Anniversary in style with his first win ever at Anfield. Instead, with more than one eye on the weekend's challenge (now possibly made considerably harder) of beating Sunderland in the FA Cup, Moyes made SIX changes to his winning team and effectively handed the game to Liverpool, who waltzed through this one on the back of a Steven Gerrard hat-trick.
