Season › 2011-12 › News Moyes praise for Jelavic Lyndon Lloyd , 28 March, 17comments | Jump to most recent Reflecting on the added dimension Nikica Jelavic has brought to his attack, David Moyes praised the Croatian for his match-winning exploits last night. "I think he has played very well," Moyes said of his deadline-day acquisition from Rangers. "He looks hungry, he looks like a centre-forward, and we have missed that. The boys like him. They like the way he plays, they like his style. "He and Darron Gibson, Steven Pienaar and Landon Donovan [who has returned to LA Galaxy after a loan spell] came in January, and we have been able to pick up a little bit from that." Moyes wasn't getting carried away by the looming clash with Liverpool on 14th April, mindful of the work to be done in the Premier League in the interim. "We have got a lot of games to go. I am just so thrilled that we won that game tonight. Everton played well and because of that, it ranks really highly because through this season, we have won a few games — even some big games — and I actually don't think we have played that well in them. "But I actually think we did play well at times tonight, we really did."
