Season › 2011-12 › News Anichebe looks beyond 'Super Sub' tag Michael Kenrick , 3 April, 61comments | Jump to most recent Victor Anichebe is happy to be involved from the bench on a weekly basis but is determined to become a regular. The striker has netted all four of his goals this season when he has come on from the bench and that is likely to remain the case for the foreseeable future but the 23-year-old claims he is determined to push on and get a regular start in the side. Anichebe has suffered with a series of niggling injuries that has kept him out of the team but he is keen to shake them off and become a regular. "I can't rubbish the super-sub tag - I always seem to get a goal or something," Anichebe told the Post. "Whether it's coming off the bench or starting games, I'm not really bothered to be honest, but there will come a time when I'll have to start playing consecutive games all the time, not just coming in off the bench. "I've been troubled with injuries here and there, so it does limit the time I've had on the pitch. "But Everton are great, they've managed me well and hopefully they can get me playing a handful of games from the start."
