The left back joined the club as a trainee from Leeds United four years ago and, after spending the 2011-12 campaign at Cheltenham Town, made his senior debut back at Elland Road in the Blues' ill-fated Capital One Cup defeat there last season. After gaining more experience at the U20 World Cup in Turkey this summer, Luke Garbutt will be hoping to push for greater first-team involvement this season under new manager, Roberto Martinez.
