Season › 2013-14 › News Professional deal for Tyias Browning Michael Kenrick , 26 July, 0comments | Jump to most recent Tyias Browning has signed his first professional deal with Everton, a two-year contract that runs until the summer of 2015. The defender has been with Everton since he was 10 years old. Last season, Browning was a regular in the Under-21s team, making more appearances than any other player. The 19-year-old is yet to make his senior debut but was named on the bench for the home Premier League fixture against Chelsea in December 2012. “I'm delighted — it's what I was working towards for the last eight years,” Browning said, “I've got the opportunity of another two years to try and make it to the first-team. “I wouldn't be here without the academy and I've enjoyed every moment as well. I've got two years to try and earn many more years. “Last season was my best at the club but it's only the early stages. Hopefully I will have many more.” Browning is the latest academy graduate to commit his future to Everton, following in the footsteps of Matthew Pennington, Chris Long and Conor Grant who all recently penned their first senior contracts.
