Leon Osman: ‘It’s about time we turned quality into a trophy’

Speaking to The Guardian during his recent visit to Claire House, Leon Osman describes his path to becoming a regular first-team player at Everton despite a serious knee injury and a shortage of demand at the time for players of his ilk who were blessed with technical ability over size and strength.

He also believes that is time for Everton to translate the increasing quality in the club's squad into silverware, a target that has always been at the top of his list of career goals.
