Club tease 2015-16 home kit

Everton and Umbro have teased the first image of the new home shirt that will be unveiled on Thursday.

The Blues' players will wear the new strip for the first time when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park this weekend before it officially goes on sale next month.

The image hints at white trim around the collar.

With revenue and merchandices a part of Everton, I just do not understand why the new home shirt is not made available for the last home game of the season.

The last game is always a sell-out so you could expect around 36,000 Evertonians at the game, if only 10% bought the top, that 3,600 shirts sold, I would say it would be much closer to 50% whoever is in charge of merchandising needs a rocket up their backside.

If it's down to it still being classed as same season, then put them on sale after the game has finished.

If the shirt deals run til July, then the next shirt deal negotiate to run til May.

Brian - possibly the answer lies in the fact that they are still trying to get rid of this seasonÂ’s stock at sale prices.

I would have thought they would have done the kit launch on the 20th being it marks 20 years since we won the FA Cup, but you would need brains to work that out, something that our marketing dept. has very little of!!

Simon I understand what you are getting at. But I think the clubs marketing people are probably trying to avoid pointing out its been 20 YEARS since we won anything!

Looks too Chelsea for my liking. IÂ’d prefer a polo style collar this time, but not like last seasonÂ’s which looked like rugby kits. The Nike away kits of 2012-13 were class. If we could get those in blue IÂ’d be thrilled.
