Hi All,

I'm new to this but have followed my beloved Blues for over 40 years.

I am concerned that despite all of the outstanding and worthy tributes to the greatest manager of our Club that I can't find one from our Chairman???

How is Bill, he would normally be the first person to pay tribute and comment on one of our own.......

Hoping all is well with him!

Gary, there's a strong rumour that Bill is seriously ill and has a matter of weeks. The club's loans have been paid off early I'm hearing.

David, is that "has been ill for a matter of weeks"? Or, "has only a matter of weeks left to live"? I don't want to sound morbid but your post is unclear.

6-8 weeks left Colin, he's missed a number of games these last months. Terrible news if true, but I'm hearing it is.

Not wishing to de-rail what is tribute to our great Howard Kendall but, David Price #2 you say that club loans been paid off early. Can you give us any more detail or back up to that statement?

Four loans, one being from Barclays, settled in full and ahead of schedule

David (#4, #6) – I'm not for a second doubting your source/s or insisting you reveal it/him/her, however rumours are rife at the moment so I'm curious to know if your '... but I'm hearing it is' is from an insider or... not.

I'd suggest that the loans were paid off in preparation for the AGM rather than Bill's ill-health.

Hopefully he's not seriously ill, it is a bit weird that he's not spoken about Kendall.

Phil (9) There may be no correlation between the loans being paid off and Bill's health or the AGM, In point of fact, it may just have been the usual way of doing things but a little later than normal.

It won't affect the accounts for 2015 because they only go up to 31 May and therefore it wouldn't affect the AGM one way or another. As always with all things Everton related, we'll have to wait and see what transpires.

Have to say that's a lovely tribute from Keys. From the heart.

Eugene, it's come from Finch Farm.
