Maybe Ron is more of a 'run them up the sandhills again' type rather than a 'run those stats by me again'.

Guy who's appointed by other guy, who then leaves club, subsequently either leaves or is asked to leave as the guy who he was going to be working with/for isn't there any more.
What stinks? What's the conspiracy theory of the day?

I suppose it depends on who decided who should move where.

I doubt Koeman has had anything to do with Vint's departure. The Academy is not under his control. He has enough to do managing the first team squad.

Just 2 days ago the club announced that Dave Adams was "the standout choice from a list of more than 90 applicants." That suggests a protracted and considered filtering of many candidates before appointing their preferred choice.
The lad can hardly be judged on his performance at the club on one week's work.
I would speculate he must in some way be closely associated with Peter Vint and that is why he has followed him out of the club, but that also doesn't make sense. If the club were considering dismissing Vint as they did, why would they appoint a (possible) ally or appointment of the man in the very week he is shown the door?
All very strange. It might be interesting to keep half an eye on this one to see if Vint and Adams end up working together in the near future.
