The Everton Fan Advisory Board are launching a new initiative ahead of Saturday’s home game against Brighton as part of their plans to improve their communication and engagement with the Everton fanbase.

Following on from successful fan engagement projects such as a Zoom session to gather questions for 777 Partners and a recent survey regarding Everton’s Fan Engagement Plan, the FAB are aiming to hold in-person, drop-in sessions before every home game, downstairs in St Luke’s Church.

Evertonians are invited to take part in informal, ad-hoc discussions with members of the FAB to find out what they do, the progress of ongoing projects, and to discuss any issues that they would like the FAB to raise with the club.

Communications Lead Paul McMonnies said: “When I joined the FAB, one of the key things I was keen to improve was the communication between ourselves and the fans. I also wanted to get our faces and voices out there a bit more, so that people realise that the Fan Advisory Board isn’t just some faceless entity – it’s actually made up of 11 Evertonians, with a common goal of trying to make a better Everton.

“These sessions will hopefully give our fellow supporters the chance to see the more human side of the FAB and to ask us directly about how we operate and what we’re working on, as well as how they would like us to best represent their opinions on all things Everton.”
