While the Toffees haven’t disclosed the exact sum, the 21-year-old midfielder has now become the ninth signing of the summer transfer window for Brian Sorensen’s side. “It is a great feeling to join Everton,” she told evertontv from Goodison Park. “It is unreal that this is going to be the home of Everton Women. I am so excited to get started. “I feel so at home here, the girls are lovely. Everyone is just backing everyone and I just can't wait to get started on the pitch. “I said to my parents when I first heard about Everton, how the owners are making Goodison the women’s new home shows just how much they are backing the team. It means so much to everyone.” Mace will wear the number 30 shirt for the Blues this season and has signed a three-year contract. She came up through the youth ranks at Arsenal before making her senior debut during the 2020-21 season. She has since played for Birmingham City, Manchester City and Leicester City before making the move to Merseyside. Mace made her debut for the Lionesses’ senior side in December 2024, starting in a 1-0 win over Switzerland. Returning to Sarina Wiegman’s national side is a priority for her. “That is a big, big dream and big aim for me,” added Mace. “To walk out with the three lions on my chest, I was so proud, and I want to do it again. “For me, it's about working hard and being consistent with Everton. Hopefully, that comes with hard work and determination.” Reader Comments Note: the following content is not moderated or vetted by the site owners at the time of submission.
